neither, if the car is stock. both will cause the car to run very rich between shifts and could make it stall. the car counts the air going going into the engine and if you vent it to atmosphere then the car is looking for air that is not there. it will cause problems. i would recommend to stay with the stock bov it is a good bov and will hold plenty of boost. good luck.

How do I reinstall the takedown pin on a Ruger LCP?

I recently bought a Ruger LCP (which is a fine pistol I might add), and the time came to clean it. Now, after having reassembled nearly all of the components, I can’t figure out how to reinstall the takedown pin. I know there is a trick with finding the right angle, but after 15 minutes of trying, I’m still lost. Any suggestions?

If you look at the hole where the take down pin goes back into the slide, you should see a little silver wire near the bottom edge (closest to the frame of the gun.) Use the tip of the pin to push that wire down into the frame…once you’ve moved it out of the way, you should be able to push the pin right in and your pistol will be correctly assembled.

i am assuming you have a boat…if not i would suggest getting at least a little two man…and add light mounts and lights to make it easier (bank walking can be really tough, especially at night).

as for restrictions…..I’m not familiar with Ohio laws, but in Texas we can’t shoot game fish. We use to be able to shoot 5 catfish, but they took that away and we can only shoot 1 alligator gar (and i think you may need a permit for that now, but I have never shot in water with them so I’m not to certain).

here we mostly shoot: carp, gar, buffalo, drum, perch, etc. basically if it’s not a game fish it’s getting shot. And don’t shoot snakes, it’s funny at first……..then you have to get them off the arrow without dropping them in the boat.

drilling large hole into fiberglass boat on deck?

I need to drill a hole over one inch into my cockpit area to mount my autopilot display. What tools should I use, and what procedure to prevent cracking the fiberglass. Be detailed please I have never done anything like this! Thanks

Get the correct size hole saw, and a good drill. Drill a pilot hole (use a but that is smaller in diameter then the hole saw bit) and then follow that up with the hole saw. Keep the hole saw straight when you drill so it goes through evenly. If you will be able to see the other side of the hole when the drill bit comes through take the hole saw and drill from that side. This helps prevent the fiberglass from chipping. If you don’t see it then just drill all the way. No need to tape anything. Just make sure you don’t press hard when drilling and keep it straight so it does not bind up. When it is all the way through make sure you stop the drill from going further and possibly hitting and scratching the area you are drilling or anything deeper behind.
