i installed sims 2 right. and now when i initiate the program the screen just turns black. i hear all the sound effects such as when it says “ea games.. challenge everything..” and all i see is the blue sims 2 arrow but the rest of the screen is black! please help!

Professional Dog Walkers: Leash Protocal?

Any professional dog walkers or those with multiple dogs, what kind of leash/collar set up do you use?
I have nine dogs, and while they are very well behaved on leash for nice long walks, I wonder what others use on walks when walking multiple dogs, either dogs who live together or just walk together.
I use regular flat buckle collars on my well-leash-mannered dogs, and a chain collar on my troublesome dogs. I also use a dog-tripler lead which allows me three dogs on one hand, so I can only walk six dogs at a time, which is fine.
I see professional dog walkers around the beach walking with seperate leads, and I figure this is because dogs who only know each other on walks may not do so well hooked right alongside another dog, essentially sharing the same walking space.
Any insight or cool products you have come across, specifically for walking multple dogs at once?

the really nice thing about multiple leads (double or triple) is that it lets the dogs pull against each other…so they’re not all dragging YOU along. If your leads are long enough you can use more then one multiple in each hand, too.

the pros use single leads because it’s actually easier to hook the dogs up and return them with singles. Once you get used to handling the leashes it isn’t hard at all, and the dogs are usually used to walking together and have set up a sort of order.

you can rig your own multiples in any number with carbiners (you can get them at any hardware store) and set up any combinations you want.

i have a question about the old m16s?

i am looking at buying a new ar15 and would like to change the pistol grip, for-stock, and the flash eliminator with the ones like from the 1960s vietnam isued m16s. how can i do this? also i was woundering if the new ar15s or even the new m16s have a solid butt stock on them oe are they some what hollow like the old ones? if they are, could they be filled to make them more sollid?

I don’t know why. They were changed for a reason. The old “V” grips sucked. The seam ran down the middle of the top and bottom and would pinch the crap out of your hand. Plus, the design and materials made them more brittle than the new ones. If you broke one, you had to get that side. They were not interchangeable. On top of that, they were slick to hold if your hands got sweaty or slick with mud. None had a “solid” butt stock. No need to change it. To fill it would add unnecessary weight to the rifle. I would not be surprised if someone made an aftermarket solid stock but I don’t know to what purpose. I never saw anyone break a butt stock. As for the flash suppressor, it used to have vents open all the way around. It was changed for 2 reasons. The first was to keep the dirt from blasting up off the ground from the muzzle gases when you were in the prone position. The dust obscured your vision and made your position more visible. The 2nd is it reduces muzzle climb.

If you are wanting to change the rifle for some kind of period costume or uniform, then go for it. Just remember that some of the ARs do not come with a removable flash suppressor. Also, the new sights are better. Easier to adjust.
